Individual Sessions

Individual coaching sessions are typically 50 minutes long, though sometimes longer (75-minute) sessions are also possible.

In-person meetings are held at the Staatsoper on Mondays, and are made available approximately four weeks in advance.

Online sessions are also possible, and can be held on days other than Monday. Reach out to Thomas via e-mail to schedule an online session.

What’s discussed during individual sessions is completely confidential. For tracking and billing purposes, only your name and the date/time of the session will be shared with the Orchesterakademie.

Please note: If you’ve booked a session and need to cancel or reschedule it, you must do so at least 24 hours in advance.

Audition / Probespiel Training

Audition/Probespiel workshops are available for young artists who have had at least one individual session with Thomas. Workshops last approximately 2.5 hours and are held in groups of three. After your first individual session with Thomas, you’ll be added to a list of eligible participants; when workshops are scheduled, you’ll receive an e-mail to sign up.

Please note: If you sign up for a workshop but need to cancel, you must do so at least 24 hours in advance so that your spot may be offered to another musician.
