Coaching with Me

I offer coaching that focuses on who you are as a whole person – not changing technique or interpretation from the outside, but accessing and expanding your hidden strengths. We can calm the voices that limit your performance, deepen self-trust, and turn self-doubt into creative clarity. No matter your artistic field – singer, instrumentalist, actor, dancer, director, writer, even circus performer or busker – the answers are already inside you. Together, we can find them.

As artists, our creative work is deeply personal – we bring our whole selves to the stage, the studio, or the page. Insecurities and mental blocks can hold us back from performing at our best, and sometimes can even sabotage us into performing at our absolute worst. I know this first-hand, because I lived it.

In my effort to understand myself better and work through my own mental blocks, I found the Internal Family Systems (IFS) approach, and it changed my life and my artistry forever. I trained in IFS in 2021, and have been using it in my private coaching practice ever since.

More than just a type of psychotherapy, IFS is a powerful coaching tool, especially for creatives. Through IFS, we can see that our insecurities and mental blocks aren’t challenges to be overcome – they’re invaluable parts of us that are actually trying to help.

Our creativity is often tied to the most vulnerable parts of who we are, so it makes sense that some parts of us would be scared when we put ourselves out there! When we approach these scared parts with compassion and curiosity, we usually learn that they want our help.

If it were that easy to “just stop being so self-critical / such a perfectionist / so scared of failure” you’d have done it already. Sometimes, it can even feel like our deepest wounds fuel our greatest art (that old “tortured artist” trope), and we fear that healing those wounds might extinguish the fire that drives us. The truth is, rather than losing your creativity, healing actually allows you to access more of it.

We can work with those inner struggles – performance anxiety, self-doubt, or the critical voices that hold you back – instead of fighting to overcome them. By listening to them clearly, we can learn what’s kept them stuck in limiting roles, and help them find new ways forward. This frees up all the energy we used to spend in that battle. The result is a deeper connection to your creativity, grounded in clarity and self-trust.

This work isn’t about fixing you, because you’re not broken. It's about befriending every part of yourself, learning from them, and moving forward with confidence. Together, we can quiet the inner noise and unlock your full creative potential in a way that’s sustainable and balanced.
